Superbowl Squares for Breast Cancer
Hi 10er's!
I shared this with the other boards and wanted to mention it to you ladies as well! Its a great cause and proceeds of the Avon Walk will go toward mammograms for women in underpriviledged neighborhoods, treatment for those that can't afford it and research.
As many of you know, this past October, I walked 39.3 miles in the Avon Walk for breast cancer and raised well over $2,000 for the cause.
I will be participating in the walk again this coming October and I am trying some new fundraising techniques by organizing a superbowl pool.
-Boxes will $10 each.
-30% of cash collected will go toward the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer (to help me meet my minimum fundraising requirements of $1,800).
-1st quarter winner will get 10% of cash collected
-Halftime winner will get 20% of cash collected
-3rd quarter winner will get 10% of cash collected
-Final winner will get 30% of cash collected.
Assuming all boxes get filled, I will collect $1,000 and $700 will be given out as prizes! Once all of the boxes are filled, I will email out the grid to all partipants!
If you are interested in purchasing a box FM me with how many boxes and your personal email address. I am doing this with a combination of my friends / co-workers / family. Depending on the winner's location, I can either meet up to give you your prize money or drop it in the mail!
