Supplemental Insurance

I know this was discussed previously. Have any of you received benefits under your supplemental insurance while on maternity leave?

Re: Supplemental Insurance

I will be, once I am out on maternity leave BUT you have to make sure you have short term disability supplemental insurance and not only long-term. Long term is only when you will out of work for 90 days +. It kicks in on day 90. Short term kicks in on day 7 or 8.

Re: Supplemental Insurance

Does supplemental kick in after short-term is paid? Also, is short term only 2 weeks?

I am such a nervous nelly. We aren't even TTC, but since my company does not pay maternity leave so I want to be prepared!!
