Re: SUPPLIES FOR CARD BOXES??
I got everything at michaels, even the boxes...
supplies: - exacto knife (makes it easier to cut the holes and the slit) - strong craft glue ( I used a glue called flip flop glue) - the ribbon around the slit (ribbon aisle) - if you want those small flowers (wedding aisle) - wood letters if you want (craft aisle) - metallic paint (painted the wood letter) - big box (fabric was already on it) - mediam box (fabric was already on it) - small box (fabric was already on it) - - and those flowers (flower aisle)
I put the small box (middle box) over the big box and positioned it to my liking and i traced it. then I got the exacto knife and cut the top of the big box (what i traced). Then I cut the entire bottom of the small box (so that the cards can fall into the bigger box) on top of the small box i cut the slit and put glue all around the rim and put a satin ribbon around it because the pieces of card board was sticking out. Then on top of the satin ribbon i put glue and put the pearly ribbon... I hope i didn't confuse you lol...
The boxes are the hardest to find, if you wanted to do your own you can use any box and buy fabric, they have this spray glue (like hair spray) it make it more evenly not bumpy.
Hope this helped...you can see my Box in my album.

Re: SUPPLIES FOR CARD BOXES??
ac moore had a good selection of paper mache boxes. I like them b/c they had lids as opposed to using cardboard boxes. the largest was $15 and i used a 40% coupon. i got fabric at joanns and used a glue gun.
