has anyone had fibriods in their uterus surgically removed? either laperscopically or an incision in the abdomen? i have to have this done soon and i'm a little nervous. if my doc can't remove it with the camera, she will have to make an incision and that means i will be out of work for 1 month. anyone else go through this?

I had it done last year. THey put the camera in, but they were unable to remove it that way. They had to do a C section cut to remove the fibroid.
THe reovery was a little rough. The first three days I was in agony. It hurt to move, especially to use the bathroom.
Best advice, keep the pain medicine coming. =)
The fibroid was causing me a lot of pain, so I was relieved to have it out. I was out of work for 6 weeks. FM me if you want to chat about it. =) Good luck.
