Im having a C-section on Friday. I read in my pre op papers that I am not allowed to wear any other jewelry but my wedding band. It also says they will tape it... now why are they going to tape my band???

Nope, no buddy... My hospital has LD anywhere out of the South Fork of LI. How stupid is that? Ill be around Mon or Tues

when i had surgery i wasnt allowed any jewelry at all. and no make-up. (although i think with c-sections you can wear make-up.... at least woman on 'a baby story' do)
i maybe wouldnt wear it that day.

I would just leave it at home. Why worry about it? Leave it in your jewelry box, and then when you come home, or after the delivery have your hubby bring it to you.

I was thinking about leaving it home but I dont know. I love my ring. I would feel unmarried without it I may take it off and have my mom bring it to the hospital when she brings Emma... although I dont know if I will be able to wear it, I got so swollen I cant wear my e-ring anymore. Who knows how swollen I will be after surgery?!
