surprise 50th for my aunt tomorrow. What the Heck do I....
Buy her? Im going to buy her some funny gifts but I want to get her a real gift. I thought about a gift certificate for a mani and a pedi but I don't know where she goes. Then I thought a massage but she always gets them and Im sure everyone will get her that. Then I thought about a simon gift card but I feel like no thought goes into that. Do u think that is a bad gift?

any hobbies she likes? all those ideas are nice...but what is a simon card?
A simon gift card is a gift certificate then can be used at any simon mall IE: Roosevelt field, The source mall

I thought there has been some bad press about the Simon cards lately (fees & other sneaky stuff).
What about an Amex gift check or VISA gift card (if that's the route you anted to go)? You can get the VISA GC at Commerce Bank for no charge I believe.

My kids recently had a 50th surprise party for me. The only 50th gift I had gotten was a funny coloring book and a crown with 'birthday queen' on in. It was really cute.
However, I had gotten earrings, a ring, candleholders w/ candles, bath and body works stuff, but mostly jewerly.
The most funniest gift was from my 5 year old cousin. I've always called her my monkey. she took her mom's gift out of the gift bag and put in her gift to me which was a banana. . When I called her the next day she said 'I gave you a banana because monkey's eat bananas and I'm your monkey'.
How cute is that?
