Surprise

So I was kinda bummed tonight.

FH went to the Ranger/Islander game.

I told him I'd make us a nice dinner before he went, then bailed on me late last night to go to dinner with his friend before the game.

I was in my PJ's about to watch a lifetime movie and eat stir fried veggies when my best friend calls. Says 'meet me outside, I want to give you those pictures I told you about but I'm in a rush'

So I chain up the dog and take her out to wait for my best friend. I then see my sister and my BFF walking down my street with what could only be described as EVERY engagement/wedding balloon they have at Party City! They were yelling 'happy engagement!, we never really got to celebrate, go get dressed we're kidnapping you. We were going to break in and get you but we thought you'd beat the crap out of us'

I got dressed and we had a wonderful dinner at the Melting Pot. My other two bridesmaids couldn't make it. But it was such a great night! I'm so happy to have them by my side during this time in my life!!!

Needless to say I had to apologize to FH for being upset b/c he was just using that as a cover story to not blow this surprise!!!
