What are you guys doing for your Bridal Shower? Do you want it to be a surprise, or not?
Mine is gonna SORDA be a surprise, i guess, but not really. Since I have OOT family coming that i'm REALLY close with, I'll find out about it probably the day before when they arrive. But the weekend itself will at least be unknown
I kinda chose it this way, because i love those OOT cousins and i don't wanna miss a day with them, when they'd all just be hiding at a hotel. lol
What are you guys doing (or have done). Being surprised or not??
I kinda like the idea of knowing where i'm headed. That way i know how pretty to make myself. hehe.

The location and date were not surprises to me but the games all were.
Since I am not having a bridal party and I have no sister, my mom was trying to plan it but she's so stressed as it is so I picked a location and sent out the invites myself (I made them myself)...

My sister (MOH) wants it to be a surprise, so I have no clue when it is or where it is. I told her it didnt have to be a surprise (my preference) but she told me it was going to be a surprise whether I wanted it to be or not.
Things are FLYING off my registry so it has to be coming up soon!

I asked that mine be a surprise.....even though one of my guy friends told me his GF got the bridal shower invite. So I know they went out and it'll be within a month or so. My guess is that it will be Columbus Day weekend.
I really want it to be a surprise though. I'm going to try to keep myself from looking at the registry...but surprises are hard to keep quiet.

mine is a surprise....i found out the place though and i know the invitations went out but thats all i know....i *think* that it might be this weekend or next weekend but im not sure, i got an outfit just in case though hahaha, im REALLY excited - every bride knows she is having a shower but not knowing what day it is and who is going to be there is really exciting, im hoping mine is as soon as i think it is!!

i didnt want mine to be a surprise (especially not the date)...i didnt wan to leave a million dates open or have 'fake plans' and im not a fan of surprises...and i wanted to look cute.
mine is this sunday and i actually know the location because i figured it out and it was confirmed when fmil slipped up a few times...and then this week my mom and i just openly discussed it hehehe. not everyone knows that i know the location though....just some ppl.
but i dont know the details of the decor or games etc.

All I wanted to know about my shower was the date and time. I did not want to know anything else, not even who was coming. I didn't open any gifts we received in the mail until after the shower. So it was mostly a surprise and completely amazing!!!

I wanted mine to be a surprise and it was until about a block away from the restaurant when FI's story of where we were going started to not make sense!! lol...

i had mine 6 months ago and i didnt want to know anything.
BUT i have to say that it was obvious what weekend it was, i figured it out. I didnt want to know details about where it was or anything being done, i didnt even want to know when. If you want it a total surprise then dont check your registry lol thats a big giveaway, and stay away from people before your shower i had about 3 ppl say it to me so thats how i found out. It S*CKS bc actually i had 3 weekends in mind so not like i was 100% sure which one it was but knew it was soon. I actually had people say 'are you excited about your shower this weekend'

i wanted mine to be a surprise. My mom and sister did the best they could keeping it from me, since I live with them! But like others have said, if you check your registry and see things come off, and you know showers are usually 2-3 months before the wedding, you can narrow down days. I eventually narrowed it down and figure things out from stuff my mom and sister were doing. I didn't know where it was or any details about the day, so it was still exciting!

Mines next weekend and is not a surprise. i live out of state, and have to fly in for it, so it really could not be a surprise, which is fine. This way I know what I am wearing, I know who will be there, and I know where it is. I dont know the favors, menu or anything else...

Mine was a complete surprise (it was last weekend) and I was super happy! So happy I was crying! I was so glad I didn't now about it! It made me happy...even to see people come from out of town!

Even though, as I said earlier, I'll end up finding out about it the day before, I REALLY want it to be a surprise at least up until then. So I don't wanna know the guest list or anything else about the day. The place, time, games, food, etc.
It's kinda nice to have a party that I don't have to plan. lol.
