My dad will be turning 60 three days after my wedding. Would the hall allow an extra 'surprise' cake for him? Has anyone ever done anything like this before? I want to do something really special for him.

I'm sure they will. and that is a very nice idea!! my parents will be celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary 2 weeks before my wedding. I am dedicating a solo dance to them

Aw..that's really sweet. I think doing something like that..a dance..a cake..would mean a lot. I'm sure they're going to love that.

Re: Surprise Cake
My sister actually got married on my 18th birthday. She told the reception hall and they had no problem bringing out a cake for me and everyone sang. I'm sure there will be no problem and it's a very nice thing to do.
