My Fh is going to be 40 On January 3, 2010. I was thinking of booking something for next decemeber 2009 at a restaurant I figure this way I could pretend we are goign to a christmas party. What do you guys think? Should I start looking now or do you think I have time since it's a year away. Any suggestions?

I think you could probably wait a little while, but if you want a Friday or Saturday you shouldn't wait too long.

I thought I could wait.........but then was thinking that people might book there christmas parties so weekend might book up. I am not sure what to do.

I would say book something now. DHs family is throwing a surprise party for my BIL and because it fell around communion season they actually told her that they were pretty much booked for that entire month of May 2009.

I would look into booking something now. Because December is a busy month people might start booking in advance. That and you might be able to lock in rates for this year.

thats my birthday too!!! But in 2010 I'm going to be 33!

At least start looking and pricing things out. Then you can have an idea of when you should book.
