Need your opinions. I am a singer. At lessons last week my teacher asked me if I planned on singing for FH at my wedding. I hadn't thought about it. Would it be more appropriate at the ceremony or the party? Any suggestions on what to sing? Is this a crazy idea?

At the reception.
A few years ago, I went to my neighbors wedding. His wife, during the reception, sang to him -- and, it was one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen at a wedding. We all had tears in our eyes.
As far as what to sing -- I have no idea!! lol

lol i wanna sing 'lets hear it for the boy' to FH at the weding. but i dont think i will.....you can do it either way it depends on where you will feel most comfortable. Either would be good tho! good luck

i agree, during the reception - he will be soooo surprised!! i think you should go for it, i bet it will be beautiful

Definately the reception! Pick a song that is sentimental to you both. He will love it and so will all of your guests!

definitely at the reception! i was thinking about doing this, but i'm not sure if i will. i don't know if i'll be able to control my emotions! i can't think of specific songs off the top of my head, but i know i was thinking of songs that i might want to use for our first dance or just a pretty love song that makes me think of us! good luck!

Funny you mentioned that. I am a singer as well and my professor has been asking me if I need his help yet to choose a song for our reception. I LOVE to sing but I get UNBELIEVABLY NERVOUS. So I am not sure if I want to be nervous about one more thing the day of the wedding. If I do decide to sing something I should start thinking of a song as well!!!
