Surprise - I'm *venting*

I am surprisingly private. Q, don't laugh - for what I say, there's a whole world of stuff that I never share.

When it comes to kids or my body or my immediate family or my feelings, I don't share anything with the ILs. In part because the silence scares them but mostly because it falls under the none of your business category.

At the man's birthday dinner, MIL made a comment about us having kids. I shot her the look of 'I will cut you' and she said, 'I'm not allowed to ask?'

I took a long pause and said, 'You are never allowed to ask.'

This morning, MIL askedd the man if she screwed up. 'Don't bring it up again,' he said.

Do I ask you when you last took a crap? Or when you're gonna die?

The man said that I'm not allowed to tell the family that I could show them my belly button ring as evidence of us not trying.

I'm glad the air is cleared, and she has been officially warned.
I'm glad The Man was on your side.

The Man is so totally a keeper and anyone that spawned him is forgiveable.

My MIL actually did ask me about my potty habits once. At the dinner table.

That was awkward.
