I accidentally just found out when and where my shower will be. We share a computer and fax machine at home and my mom left the faxed copy of her contract right next to the computer... so as I sat down to chat with you girls... I noticed my name on a piece of paper and so now I know...
Its going to be at Caffe on the Green in Bayside... anyone know the place? I have never heard of it.

yup its very nice right on the service rd of the cross island i think its more like whitestone though....dont be sad....it will be great!!

I'm just sad that I saw where and when... I can't tell anyone but you girls, I'll pretend I never saw it.
I guess at least I will know to be dressed properly that day :)

EVEN THOUGH YOU KNOW IT WILL STILL BE SO OVERWHELMING IN A HAPPY WAY. I know this cause i had a baby shower(we do things backwards) and when we got there i saw my cousins truck plus i kinda figured it out cause we hadnt been to brunch in months but i was still full of butterflies!!

Oh dont be sad I know when mine is too!!! At least you know you will be properly dressed. Caffe on the Green is technically in Bayside - I live a few exits from there. Its actually really nice - we considered getting married there!

Dont be sad that it's not a surprise. I specifically told my MOH that I DO NOT want to be surprised. I want to be prepared and dressed appropriately!

I understand... my shower is supposed to be a surprise but my mother keeps telling me things about it. As for Caffe on the Green, we LOVE that restaurant. It is so beautiful and the food is excellent. You will have a fantastic time! Does your mother know that you found out about it?

you're going to have a great time no matter what, don't worry about it.
i'm throwing my sister a surprise shower, but i needed a guest list so i had to tell her about it. she just doesn't know where/when it is. so now she'll just be expecting it everytime she sees me lol

The cafe is a beautiful place. Your shower will be amazing. Don't feel bad you know, because I kind of know where mine is too. My fam lives in CT and no matter how hard they try it won't be a surprise because it will be in CT. Also my grandma slipped about it as well. So I feel your pain, just act surprised.

No, I haven't told anyone (except for posting it on LIW)... I am going to keep it to myself. I don't want her to be upset.
