anyone else finding themselves totally stressed out about their surprise shower? im so excited for mine, and so honored that my girls are planning it for me. but im finding its getting too close to my big day and important appointments like, my finals meeting and alterations are hard to schedule!! im trying so hard not to stress out but bc its out of my control, its making me crazy!!! must remember to breathe...

Its extremely stressful and I hate surprises, but my family insisted. I am so thankful that my family and friends have put soooo much effort into planning a wonderful shower for me, but I've been so stressed out! I, no joke, have had several nightmares of no one showing up to the shower! I finally cracked and was crying/yelling at my mom because I wanted my hair and nails to be done!! Too much stress for me waiting for it to happen. They would have been better off telling me the date and just keeping all the details a surprise as I never wanted to be involved in the process.

i completely agree!!! im the one who said i wanted a surprise - so i just have to accept it. im defintely a control freak - so of course im freaking out now (i shouldve known better!). i have to learn to let go and i feel like such a brat for stressing out about it. im glad im not the only one :(

Believe me, you aren't the only one. And You aren't a brat. The stress is getting to me as well and I keep saying - I'm in no way trying to be a brat or ruin things...its just way too stressful!!!

i wish i could do this but i think my mom would probably kill me at this point. everyone seems really stressed now. in trying to make OTHER plans i also found out that someone i love dearly who is DEFINITELY on my invite list either had no idea when my shower is or was just playing dumb...it makes me want to cry. and i cant even ask anyone about this. agh!

Awww it definitely makes you anxious but it's an amazing feeling. I had one of my bm's take my shower dress & bring it for my surprise shower and I kind of narrowed it down as to what weekends it might be. I sorta peeked at my registry so you know roughly when it's going to happen LOL

This is exactly what I wanted. No one listened to me and I've been upset all week because I can't take the stress anymore. I seriously hate surprises.
