Surprising FH with Groom's Cake

Ok, girls, I need your help. I'm am doing groom's cake on a budget for CASUAL rehearsal dinner. What do you think I should get:

Option 1- Sheet cake with 'Game Over' design:


Option 2- Crumbs cupcakes with custom 'Game Over' tags that I make:

Yup! You had the giant ones and they were awesome! I figure if I do the ones that are a little smaller, it may actually come out cheaper than the sheet cake, like you said. But, I'm going to see what the Cake Gallery out in Bellmore quotes me too. Oy, decisions, decisions. LOL.

Try Brian at Sweet Karma in East Meadow. I just went there and ordered my groom's cake yesterday and he does both cakes and cupcakes. His prices are amazing too! He gave me the best price out of anyone I spoke with.

Hey girls! Just wanted to fill you in that I went with Sweet Karma! Definitely the BEST price. $200 cheaper than the bakeries in Brooklyn for the same cake.

Picking up the cake on Sunday. I decided to go with a sheet cake with a 3D Heinken Lite bottle. I'll take pictures when I pick it up and post. But, I think its going to be great. Thanks for recommending Sweet Karma!!!
