surprisingly got a lot done!

our final pre cana was this morning and we did a run through with the priest

then we had a cake tasting - we originally thought we would do a chocolate cake with fresh strwaberries and bananas in a french cream, but then we tasted the carrot cake and IT BLEW OUR MIND!!! seriously if you need a cake and your in nassau i highly recommend the carrot cake from Francescos!!! oh my goodness that was like heaven on a fork!!

and we just picked all our songs for the reception. these are our selections:

Bridal Party Entrance - have the DJ play a house beat

Bride & Groom Entrace - The Show Goes On by Lupe Fiasco (mostly because this is also Justin Turner's walk out song and he's one of our fav mets)

First Dance - To Make You Feel My Love by Trisha Yearwood

Bride & Father Dance - Stealing Cinderella by Chuck Wicks

Groom & Mother Dance - Simple Man by Shinedown (the acoustic version)

Cake Cutting - That's How Strong My Love Is by The Rolling Stones

Anniversary Dance (this is give away the bouquet to the longest married couple) - I Just Call You Mine by Martina McBride

Last song of the night - Empire State of Mind by Jay-Z

ooh never thought to give the husband something a bottle of wine or maybe champagne sounds like a good idea. i may have to copy that!

I love carrot cake. Like LOVE carrot cake. DH doesn't.....boo.
