This whole planning a wedding and being engaged is a very surreal experience for me. I am doing eveything I need to and I see the ring on my finger but it is still very surreal. Is anyone else feeling like that?

LOL!! I did in the beginning too! then when we started to plan the wedding hardcore you get used to it!

lol, yessss! I definitely got used to it, but sometimes I catch myself staring at the ring while im driving and just thinking 'wow!'

It's only natural! It's crazy to think that in a year I'll be married, on my own, starting a family, etc.

In the beginning it did a little but I was soooo busy at work I didn't get a chance to even think about it. the next week when work settled down I was in la la land! I stare at my ring ALL THE TIME!

honestly, i dont have that surreal moment anymore... i think it may have something to do with being engaged for like 1 1/2 yrs now and us dating so long that we've felt like we've been married for years now...

i definitely feel like that all the time.
the next day after he proposed I was in a daze all day long, everyone was like, are you ok?? lol i think I was in shock
it went away a little bit this summer when I was doing some serious planning meeting with vendors etc.
but now that I've taken a break from the planning I find myself staring at my ring all the time and I'm like, Huh?? lol

I do still feel like that! Especially when the light gleans off of it just right!! I just stare at it and think how when I'm marrying my best friend, we'll have just celebrated our 10 year anniversary

I still get those moments too.. but i think ill have that forever.. i still get like that when i see FH and we live together!
But i was in serious shock for almost 2 months and then i got into the planning hardcore and it has become more 'real'

I totally stare at my ring, even though we've been engaged for almost a year, I find myself just looking at it thinking, wow, I can't believe it FINALLY happened, It's hard to wrap your head around it, but you will, it's just a wonderful experience!!
