So I am curious, which one do you think has better coffee? Dunkin Donuts is definitely trying to be a contender, but I would still pay the extra dollar and change for Starbucks any day.

Definitely D&D!! I only drink regular coffee, not all the other junk that they both have to offer

I enjoy Starbucks every now and then, but I'm a Dunkin Donuts girl all the way.

Starbucks is too bitter. I love a nice latte, but even the mild is too strong for me. I like D&D much better. They have all of those calorie free flavors too

same here! I was hooked on Starbucks for a little while but I got sick of the smell and taste of their burnt beans (yes, they burn their coffee beans).

I love DD! we buy their beans and grind them at home, yummy!

I really don't like Starbucks at all (except a frappuchino every now & then in the summer)...their coffee is way too strong for me & bitter. I love my Dunkin Donuts (& 7-11 too!)

It depends..

I like DD better, however, some of the DD stores are better than others. The one in Penn Station must have the worst coffee I have ever tasted..They must water it down or something, the 'french vanilla' barely tastes like it at all, but when I get it in East Meadow or anywhere else in Manhattan or Brooklyn, the vanilla is so sweet smelling you can smell it from 10 ft away. They are perfect for my everyday coffee.

Starbucks is usually consistant, no matter which one you go to, they are usually the same. They are too expensive for my everyday coffee though, I only go there occasionally as a treat. Besides, I like the flavored concoctions that they have there, but they are not 'bikini friendly', I refuse to look at the nutritional guide and find out how many calories are in my grande peppermint mocha

Someone else had mentioned 7-11 in this thread. They really do have excellent coffee and much cheaper than either one!

Hands down, Dunkin Donuts. I drink my coffee black, and Starbucks regular coffee is horrible to me. It tastes like cigarette butts. Even for fancy stuff, D&D has some pretty good things.
