Suspicious invite?? UPDATED again on pg 2

We got an invitation today for a surprise party for FFIL... now, FMIL had mentioned to me a while ago she wanted to have something for his birthday (60th) and did I think my parents would come.... I said of course and that was the end of it!

So today, we (whole family) get an invitation to the party. I was out with FMIL on Saturday and she didn't say anything that she had decided on a date or anything.... Vinny hasn't mentioned it either...

The invitation was very strange... it just said 'For: Vic'... nothing about his age or anything, just that the party is for him...

Also, it is on a Saturday at 12:30... he normally works on Saturdays... And it's out at a restaurant and I could have sworn FMIL said she was just going to have it in the yard...

So I am thinking this may be my shower! Things have started moving slowly off the registry (I HAVE to make myself stop!!) so I know it has to be coming up soon...

Am I overanalyzing???

ETA: Just spoke to my grandmother from FL and she mentioned a trip she was supposed to take got cancelled and she might come up here instead... when you ask? End of August!! I did hear my mom tell her we had Vinny's dads party to go to but then I think I heard her say... 'did you hear me?' so I'm wondering if she said something under her breath... We shall see!!

ETA: My neighbor came over right after this and said she might have a shower for her daughter who is on her third baby (strange!)... so then she mentions the restaurant but stumbles over it like she's not sure of the name... and of course, its the place I was 99% sure my shower was at. This 'shower' is on the 28th. Now I am not sure which day is really the shower...

No, it's SHOWER TIME... When my FMIL gave me the addresses for the invites... there was one cousin who she wrote down 'may not come because she is at school.' Now suddenly there is a graduation party for her in August that I have to go back to NY to attend???? So I know exactly how you feel!!!!!!!!!!!!! HAVE FUN!!!!

So today I was talking to my friend and she mentioned she has a wedding to go to... when I asked when she said the 27th... I know she really does have a wedding and I know for SURE she wouldn't miss my shower so it must be the 28th, the day of the 3rd baby shower for my neighbor... That 'shower' is at the restaurant I was pretty sure my shower was going to be at anyway... three more weeks- we shall see!!

I should also add I have NOT checked my registry in a week!!
