How's everything going with your new HOUSE?

The Good:
I heart my new house and my cat seems SO happy. It is fun to decorate (although it will take forever to finish)

The Bad:
Painting takes forever. Hopefully we will be done by spring

The Ugly:
The inlaws have taken this opportunity to 'visit' ALOT to 'help'. FIL takes all opportunities to tell us what is wrong with the house and needs a-fixin. I escaped to the Pottery Barn outlet last weekend to avoid said conversations - which you can file in The Good cause they were having a 25% off everything sale.

Today I ordered this potrack - which is strangely exciting to me:

That's really pretty.
I was at Home Goods in PJ, and they had all these nautical inspired things. Good times.

I almost bought a blue oar there, but DH wants a wood one.

i heart home goods myself. I miss the PJ homegoods. Up here in CT I have to drive all over to find one and is s ucks!

I'll just have to take a shopping trip!

I your new pot rack! Now understand that a vacuum is going to be the most amazing thing and a new washer and dryer will seriously make you wet....

so true! Only now is a pot rack more exciting than a new pair of shoes. DH thinks I am weird cause I get excited with all my home purchases, even the shoe rack I bought last week.
