SuzBride and other Gauntlet Watchers!

I need your help - I had to miss the episode and I'm dying to know what happened. PLEASE fill me in.

UGH! I hate MTV for torturing me. I missed the beginning actually - so I totally missed the challenge. But the veterans lost again, so poor Derrick had to go to the Gauntlet AGAIN.

Derrick was pissed cause David walked during the challenge - and he said that he thought everyone would vote for him cause he didn't try. David got REALLY mad and was like 'You're being stupid - I'd kick your butt'. So they vote and 1/2 the people voted David and 1/2 voted Timmie (side note - did you know that at one point Timmie and Suzy were engaged?). So Derrick tells them to do what is right and 1/2 vote for Timmie and 1/2 for David. Derrick then has a mini breakdown and kicks the table in the middle of the room - repeatedly - thus breaking it.

TJ comes in and says have you made a decision. Derrick says that someone needs to step up and of course Timmie does cause David is an asshat. ANd then on the way to the gauntlet David is going on and on about how he hopes Derrick goes home

So it is Reverse Tug of War. They are tied up and they blow the whistle. They start to tug and it looks like Derrick is pulled back by the momentum of TImmie. They then end the show with me in suspense - UGH! Scenes from next week show Derrick like IN the sand trying to win the gauntlet and some controversy and yelling during the final challenge.

The end

To fill in the beginning:

The challenge was for half the team to run to t he other end of the feild where a bike was, ( David walked/jogged) disassemble it & run back.

Then the other half had to run over to the bike, re-assemble it & one person had to ride it back to the start line & TJ had to inspect it. Randy knew what he was doing & helped the rookies finish first & Alton rode the bike back
(even though he doesn't really know how to ride a bike) , while thr Veternas were still working on theirs & the rookies won-- Alton gets a TJ Lavin autographed bike!

glad I missed that (insert vomit icon here) I find Kina annoying.

Can't they do some sort of special intervention? Like sacrifice David to the gods of the island so that Timmy and Derrick can both stay no matter what the outcome is in reverse tug of war?

I agree - TJ should just announce that David is going home - due to the fact that he su-cks. David was being so nasty about it - um hello- maybe if you tried sprinting instead of being a lazy arse. That poor veterens team - they are so tiny now!

Yeah, it should be on TJ - he doesn't like quitters and it sounds like David sort of gave up during the challenge.

haha me too! I love how TJ gets all pissy at the quitters -

David was on one of these years ago & he pretty much said he didn't care about winning & was there for the free vacation.
