I missed the showcase How was the food??
I thought the food was pretty good. At least what i tasted-There was SO many people there and i kept trying to get FH to go straight to the food; but he wanted to walk though the vendors first. I was like forget the vendors; we can come back I want to taste the food
By the time we got to the food the lines were so LONG. FH doesn't eat meat-so i had most of the options-the beef short ribs (good but a little messy not sure i'd choose this for the CH); the lo mein (surprisingly good); Chicken Franceise (sp) (was good too); Eggplant Parm (i tasted it-it was really good but i don't usually eat it so i didn't know what to compare it to). Tortellini (sp) yummy!! Beef -can't remember what it was called but it was very tender-thought it tasted good.
ALSO-the swan club's Red Velvet cake was SO good! It had a cream cheese filling and a butter cream icing. OMG i could have just eaten that!.
Can you tell i thught the food was good!

Someone who was at a wedding there yesterday told me the food was just ok, not really good. I'm annoyed now! You don't know yet but my Swan Club wedding is being pushed back possibly to either 2011 or 2012...though, for personal reasons and to avoid becoming homicidal, we are eloping this Spring! I still want my wedding at SC but the food is a huge???!! I actually enjoyed the stuffed fish and chicken francaise (sp) when I went for lunch, so it seems like the CH food may be ????.

OH No! That's what i'm afraid of-I've heard mixed reviews; some say it's good; some say it's bad. I liked what i tasted-so i guess it's all a matter of personal preference. PLUS i didn't go expecting a 5star meal so maybe that's why i was ok with the selections and how things tasted....Eloping this spring! that's so exciting! Where??

Haven't decided yet on where, probably one of the USVIs. But he definitely still wants the big wedding, he just wants to wait a bit longer...I have to say I agree it's best! But he doesn't want to wait for us to be married b/c we already have a child together. He wants to make an honest woman outta me!! . But I have a feeling it will be in St. Thomas. I'm seeing some really nice deals out there! Us and 2 other couples, keeping it quiet...
