I think the grounds are beautiful...I have been there for a few events...and I always thought the food as good...not spectacular...but always good...
At a wedding...there was another going on...but the only time I realized was when I went to the bathroom

Re: Swan club
I thought it was ok. The dance floor was too small. Grounds were pretty.

Re: Swan club
The grounds are really pretty...the room I was in at a wedding was strange...there were these stairs that led to a different floor and there were tables there that were separated from all the others and we couldn't even see them...weird...food was decent from what I remember.

Re: Swan club
Thats were I am getting married and I have never heard a bad thing about it. A couple of years ago it was known to not be the 'best 'place. It has really turned around alot. Also we wemt for a tasting before we booked (I wouldnt book anywhere without tasting) and it was good. We went during the day when they were serving lunch so it wasnt like they made the food just for us! Price was Great, And look for yourself never let someone discourge you. Decide 4 ureself! Good luck!

Re: Swan club
I just looked there this weekend and although we're going to book somewhere else, it was our second choice so far. Our only concern was that we were there in March for a Bar Mitzvah and not all that impressed by the food. However, that could be a function of the choices the family made rather than the quality of the food. I'm fairly certain that they did not go with any of the more unusual choices (and you do have a lot of choices for the main entree), and just stuck with the standard.
I spoke with John when I was there this weekend and he seemed very friendly and nice and didn't pressure me into making a decision. He told me to take a week or two and look at other places before I decided. That was a refreshing change from the, 'If you don't book now you'll lose your date' shtick that a lot of other places give you.

The Swan Club is our second choice right now. I think the grounds are amazing. I did not try the food. I also thought their rooms were a little small. But it was very elegant looking. I agree with the prior postings, you should decide for yourself. Every place has had good and bad days. Good luck.

Re: Swan club
I've been to 2 weddings there. I liked the food the first time (2001) and the second time was this past July. There was a very noticeable difference between the 2 times I was there. At this last wedding, the service was horrible and the food was bad.
I would definitely ask to taste thier food and decide for yourself.

Re: Swan club
I would probably go to a tasting, it's the best way to tell, but I was at a Sweet Sixteen there and it was beautiful and the food was great.

Re: Swan club
This may be biased since I recently booked the swanclub... but the place is great!! everyone I talk to says they loved the place and had a good experince there. I went for a tasting and loved what I had! They are not pushy people at all and seem very reasonable. The grounds are amazing... Def. go there and/or check out their website. I booked with Paul, and he was SO friendly and helpful. Any questions... just FM me... hope this helps!
