Happy Spring Bride Mates!

Soo excited that my favorite flowers, tulips are about to be in full bloom!

Anyhoot.. I notice there are some other Swan Club Brides and wanted to connect us all on one page.

I can't wait for my Mom to see the place, especially the garden.

That's great! I'm going to visit there next week so my Mom and MIL can see the venue.

Yes it is. We are booked in the Garden Room which is the same room I think you were in. It directly faces the garden and is across from the ceremony space. How was the service of the waiters, etc? Were they accommodating to the guests? Just curious...

I remember that one of the bartenders were amazing. I had asked for a drink and he made me some mixed drink that was AMAZING. I remember that during cocktail hour that it seemed like there wasn't much food that was being passed along but that could have been bc my best friend cut back on the food at cocktail hour. For the most part I feel like when I did see the staff they were very accommodating, esp the bartender who kept making me my drink all night. The only REAL complaint I had was that their dj I felt suck. So if you come across a DJ Kevin I would try staying away from him

Going to see swan club today? Anyone have any quotes to compare to? Looking for a warm month, not too hot, april or may, but flexible.

Thanks in advance!

How was your visit to the Swan Club? Which room are you looking at? I have quotes for June in the Camelot Room if you want them.

I know that November-March, maybe beginning of April are the non-peak time for weddings. So Swan can definitely give you a good price. I know one bride I spoke to before was quoted $65pp for a Saturday wedding in March.

Do any of my fellow Swannies know when you have to let SC know how many guests will be attending? Is it 1 month before?

Hi!

I think a month before the wedding I was told you have to give your final guest count.

For some reason, I remember by BM telling me a week before but I may be completely wrong. A month before makes a lot more sense than a week before, lol. I would call to make sure!

Now that you mentioned it, I'm going to ask them tomorrow when I see them for the tasting.

Just wanted to give you ladies a heads up on my tasting yesterday! What a beautiful day it was yesterday!! I couldn't of asked for better weather. My Mom, MIL, FH and myself got a nice seat in the 'Contessa Room' for lunch overlooking the pond and gorgeous grounds.

The tulips aligning the walkway and around the gardens were breath taking. We had a really good time and enjoyed the (4) entree choices. There were (2) of the desserts we didn't like at all.

Overall we had a great time. The receptionist told me yesterday that they are putting together a room near the Garden room for the Bride to change, etc. I heard it's being renovated. Were any of you told the same thing that's staying in the Garden room?

Glad to hear you had a great time! Are they renovating just that room? It'd be nice if they could do something about the bridal suite for the Camelot room too! I'm a bit worried about going up and down the narrow stairs in my dress.

Interesting you mentioned the steps to the Bridal Suite as my Mom didn't like the steps either. Not sure about that Bridal Suite. But the cocktail hour room for the Camelot is really pretty!

Hi All!

I just reserved my date at the Swan Club for May 2014 this past weekend! This is actually my first post on this site so i just wanted to say hi. I am actually having a smaller wedding with roughly 80 guests so I will be in the Contessa room. I havent seen many posts about that room but have heard fantastic things about the Swan Club overall!

Welcome Fellow Swannie! The contessa room is nice. We had hour tasting in that room. I like the fireplace and you get a fantastic view of the gardens from that room.

Hi Ladies!

I'm in the Garden Room. My guest list is higher than expected and we are approaching the max of 160. I know not everyone will be able to attend however I'm wondering if even at 140 will the room feel tight. Are there any Swannies that can speak to this?

I had my engagement party in the garden room and we were at around 135, and it was perfect size-wise!
