just wondering where all the swan club brides are blocking rooms and how you plan to get to the hotel after reception?? need some advice because the hotels around are so expensive. TIA

The cheapest hotel I found for the room blocks was four points sheraton for 135.00 and the most expensive was Roslyn Claremont. Look into The Andrews, Huntington Hilton and all the Marriotts as long as its about 20 minutes away. Thats what we did. We are getting a ride back with family to save money

i dont think im blocking rooms bc i just dont have that many OOTers. i will suggest to the bp (and all others that i need early in the morn) to stay in a hotel the night before since the wedding is at 11:30am. no need for us to block rooms for after the party bc its over at 5

We blocked rooms at the Glen Cove Mansion. The normal rate is around $200, wedding rate is $179 but since they're a Swan Club vendor it's $159.
They recommend a shuttle company to use, but we'll probably just rent some vans from our limo place.

Sorry this response is late, but in case you are still looking...i blocked rooms at la quinta inn in garden city. the block room rate i got (quite a few months ago so not sure if it went up) was $159, and it's only about 15 minutes from the swan club. I am still trying to look into a shuttle/bus company to use for my OOTers.
did you find a shuttle company yet? i read from another swan that she used Alert Buses and got a good price. i have not checked it out yet though...

Glen Cove charges $500 dollars to take any pictures on there ground if your not having your wedding there
