Swan Club Dinner Dance

This past Thursday night, FH, MOH (my daughter) and I went to a dinner dance at the Swan Club in Roslyn. We had a wonderful time, the place is beautiful. The gardens were especially lovely with the tulips all in bloom. My only (mini) gripe is that the staff were a little standoffish. The hostess at the front when we first arrived was very unfriendly, seemed annoyed when I asked to check my coat. The waitress we had at our table was like a robot - stood straight as an arrow with a blank look on her face the entire night! Her expression never changed!! Our dinner choices were chicken francaise, prime rib and salmon. My daughter had the chicken and it was delicious (I stole a piece from her - told her I needed to give a complete review on nyc weddings), my prime rib was a little overdone for my taste, but it was a very generous portion. I don't like fish so I didn't taste the salmon, but FH had it and said it was good. I put some pix in my album - enjoy!!
