Is anyone having their reception in the Swan Club Garden room? If so, How are you decorating it, flowers, linen...etc. Cause the ceiling is low.

I might be getting married int he Garden Room-we're still considering the SC but haven't put a deposit down yet. We saw the room at their showcase last month and it looked perfect just the way it was (in my opinion). They had some uplighting under the sweetheart table; and i think against the walls. But with all the table settings; chivary (sp) chairs and centerpieces it looks perfect. I don't think you have to add any extra decorations other than your centerpieces. I also like the linen & chairs they provide so maybe that's why it looked good to me; FH talked about wanting to cover the mirrors w/some linens but i don't think we have a linen budget so it will stay just the way it is!

Do you think that the ceilings are too low to have high centerpieces? Do you think the chairs need to be covered?

Garden Rooms chairs are beautiful alone-they're those chivary (sp) chairs. I think you could definetely do high centerpieces!
