I am visting these two RH this weekend can anyone give a head up about what to expect? The Swan Club looks very nice but it seems to good to be true. Any advice. Right now my first choice is Westbury Manor.

There is a post that is swan club vs westbury manor. Go to the search function and hit swan club and then scroll down a bit and you will see it. Take everybody's opinion with a grain of salt...go see everythign yourself!

Westbery manor is very beautiful, i have been to many events there. i'm going to the swan Club this morning so i will post back later and tell you how it goes

I haven't been to either one of those. However, I used to live near them both. If you want the gardens and all that you will find that at the Swan Club. The Metropolitan (as far as I know) doesn't have a place outside for pictures. It's more in the main part of Glen Cove.

The grounds at the Swan Club is amazing. I think this place is very beautiful and just right for a couple on a tight budget. My banquet manager was not very good at selling the place. The menu is so much food. The chapel they have for ceremony is so simple but so beautiful I really loved this part. The price pp is very affordable and selection of food is good. I just have to go for a tasting. Right now Westbury Manor and Swan Club are my top two.

I lovedddd the Swan Club also it is very beautiful and the prices are reasonable. I'm going to go with FH again this weekend. I think the Camelot room is better for me even though the banquet manager was pushing the garden room, and he was not good at selling the place.. Did you see Mike also??

Yes I had Mike also. He did not show me the garden room. I think there was an event going on. My party would take place in the Contessa Room which I am not to crazy about. I really did not like the chairs. He said they are considering updating the room in the future and the chair are one of things may go. He said if no event was taking place on the day my wedding then I can use the chairs that are in the Camelot Room. I will proably take my FH tomorrow to see the venue. I was very please with the Swan Club beauty. Another thing that came across my mind was if it rains do they have a room for photos. Westbury Manor has a beautiful room to take pictures just in case it rains.

It is so beautiful there that I would make sure we all had those umbrellas and go out there and wing it... You never know, those might even come out to be cute pics Heheh

just called the swan club they will be setting a room in the next 2 months just for photos.
