Swan Club - Pics of small room anyone?

the small room is called the After Deck. it's where they usually hold the CH for large weddings. We originally booked this room for our reception but then got bumped up to the Contessa Room because we were the only party that night. The After deck is great though! and I LOVE the bar!

Ok, I'm usually not crazy about mirrors along the walls etc., but from these pics I really like it! DJPill (hope I got that right) pictures were also lovely and it looked very elegant!

How small was your wedding party that you were supposed to have that room? It looks like it would be super tight for 75 people. I have to say the BM I spoke with was a sweetheart and seems like she would be a pleasure to work with.

Oh...a few more questions...do they keep that bar manned just for your wedding party? If it's nice out can you have cocktail hour outside if you have that room? I'm going to look for your review also =) I'm getting excited that I actually have someplace to look at! Thanks, Lisa

we had 56 people at our wedding. To be honest, I was also very concerned about the size of that room for my party. I can't imagine how they would fit 75 people in there. I had a big dancing crowd, so it would have been a real issue with that small dance floor.

to answer your other questions, if you have your wedding in the After Deck you get that gorgeous bar for the whole night, that is a huge plus. I also know that the Swan Club does many CH's outside. You should ask your BM about availability.

IMO, if you’re really having 75 ppl at your wedding, try and negotiate the Contessa Room!

Hey Girl - Thanks! I got your FM mail when I signed on this morning, but being somewhat of a newbie I didn't know how to get back into it (to say thanks to you directly).

Hmmm...I don't think they will go lower than 100 for the Contessa room. How was it with 56 people? Did it seem too large? This is going to be a pain for us...we're going to fall in a number range where we aren't quite there for the bigger rooms and are too large for the smaller rooms. Why can't anything every be simple!

the Contessa Room did not feel too big at all with 56 people. by the time you add in the bar, the DJ and the wait staff, it was perfect! and the dance floor was packed all night!

they bumped us up into the Contessa room when we went to choose our menu, about a month before the wedding. One of the advantages of getting married in an off month is that you have more flexibility. I see you chose September to get married in, that's a pretty busy month for weddings. if you consider moving your date, you would have more options, for sure!
