I am getting married at the Swan Club in July 2005. Any feedback???? I've heard mixed reviews about the food there? I am just curious to see what people who have been there think of the place. The gardens are beautiful but I have heard such mixed reviews that I am starting to worry!

I went for one right after I booked but the choices they had werent all from the menu. I had a chicken dish and it was good. Did you go for a tasting?

I got married there in June. I liked the food. Some of my guests complained you can't please everyone.

FH had the filet mignon and I had filet of sole and both were good... I really wouldn't stress over anything...

Re: Swan Club Reviews
I am getting married there in November (same day as Janine ) I went for a tasting, FH had filet mignon and I had Rosemary Chicken. He liked his a lot, I was a bit lukewarm, so we asked to do a second tasting so we could try one of the fish dishes and another of the chicken. Overall, I liked the food, just wanted to try something else before I choose the menu. They have been very accommodating.

Re: Swan Club Reviews
I just went for my food tasting this past week. I bought my parents so that we can all try a different dish. Honestly, we all enjoyed our meals. I gave up on trying to please everyone. Don't worry about it. People love to complain about things. As long as you enjoy it, that is all that matters.

Re: Swan Club Reviews
You ladies didn't get an actual scheduled food tasting, right? They just told you to go during lunch hours and it would be on them?
Michael told me they don't do food tastings. I've heard the food there is good but not gourmet. But for the exceptional prices they have and the amount of food they give, it's worth it. I actually decided against them because i think the size of the room they'd give me is too small for my guests.
Good to luck to eveyone though. :)
