Swan Club- to Kimberleeg

Hi, Was wondering if you can give me more info on your plans for the Swan Club (season, price, #of ppl etc.). I am considering going there to check it out this weekend. I am the one who has been posting and cannot decide b/t a backyard wedding and having it somewhere else. If the Swan Club is cozy, has a outdoorsey feel or view, and I can keep it simple (I dont` want a place that has elaborate stuff, like chandeliers etc.) I would have it there if the cost would even out to no more than $50pp. And, I dont have a bridal party , and will be having the ceremony on site. I`ve only been engaged for over a week, but I`d like to have a place secured by the end of January. Also, I don`t want wedding debt, I`d rather have house debt. Since we are paying for it our selves, I am really trying to do it for around $5000. Any ideas? Thanks

Swan Club- to Nina

I am having my wedding on a Friday night in November. We are having about 120 people, keeping it small. the room we are using is very nice, i think they might have a minimum of 100 people for that room, they have bigger rooms as well. I am paying 60$ a head.. We went for a food tasting and i really enjoyed the food. The gardens are really pretty, the have a website www.swanclub.com , and you can take tours. i hope this helps

Swan Club- to Kimberleeg

I went to the Swan Club for New Year''s Eve this year and was pleasently surprised. We were in the main room which is the nicest, very low key with a beautiful view of the bay and it held about 200 ppl. But they have 2 smaller rooms. The Filet Mignan was excellent and so was the shrimp cocktail. Which is hard to get right w/ so many ppl. The service was very nice and helpful too. You should also enquire about the band they used for New year''s. They played EVERYTHING very well. It was a very mixed crowd (age wise)and they played tunes from the 40''s thru now. Good Luck.
