Swan Club vs Sand Castle - Also posted on Newlyweds
We have booked the Sand Castle but soontobe FI having major issues with them - we are also looking at the Swan Club as a new venue. Any ideas between which to go with - food is important and I know Sand Castle's food is supposed to be great. But as a hall, which would you prefer???

They are both good choices!
It depends on what you're looking for...
Swan Club is beautiful, has beautiful grounds, etc.
Sand Castle also nice, but there are no grounds, the decor is more like the Leonard's of Great Neck type of look...
Two totally different looking places!
Good luck!

I have never been to the Swan Club but I have heard wonderful things about it. I have been to the Sand Castle and did not have a good experience. If you want to know about my experience send me a FM.

The food at the Swan Club is really yummy! And they give you lots of choices for your menu.

Personally I liked Sand Castle better. I shoudl really say, I went to a wedding at the Swan Club a few years back and nothing sticks out in my head (except for the beauty of the grounds) I don't remember leaving there saying WOW. We went to a christening a month ago and thought the service was GREAT and the food was good too. We both left there saying it was very nice!! JMO

Went to a lot of halls including the Swan Club and the Sandcastle. My party is 120 people so the Sandcastle had a beautiful room that suited my party perfectly (My wedding is in the Skylight room next month) The Swan club's room was too small and also the bathroom were very tiny so I ruled it out right away. The Swan club grounds were beautiful but the customer service is much better at the Sandcastle.
It is hard choosing reception halls but you need to weight the pros and cons and make the best possible decision. I hope this helped.....
