swan club vs westbury manor

Hi All,

I am new to this site and really love all of the advice. As of now I fidn myself in a bind. I don't know if I should go with Westbury Manor or Swan Club. I am getting married in December of 2014 and really don't know what to pick. Swan Club is a little cheaper than Westbury Manor.

Help.. Suggestions.. PLEASE!!!

I didn't visit the Swan Club, but I remember the decorations at Westbury Manor being pretty (I saw pictures). Make sure you ask to see pics of Christmas decorations before you book anywhere. One place we visited looked like Santa's workshop on steroids. It was frightening.

I feel like SC is more of a springy/summer venue. Did you see milleridge?

I agree that swan club is maybe more of a summer spring or fall venue.

Swan Club was a very high contender for me even before I seen it in person. The only thing I didn't like even though we would have the biggest room I felt that my guests would tight all being on one side of the room. Also the bathrooms were old school to me and I didn't see a handicap stall and then were pretty small in size. When we went to Westbury Manor we just knew right away. We gave each other the look and we were sold. We booked it the next day.

We were considering swan club too but got so many unfavorable reviews on their food so we went with westbury.

When I was visiting venues around Christmas, I thought Fox Hollow looked really pretty. They had this huge tree in the lobby. Even though I had my wedding at the WM, I probably would have gone with Fox Hollow if I had a winter wedding. I think they are around the same price as WM and Swan club.

Re: swan club vs westbury manor

I've been to both and I'm surprised SC is cheaper! My personal taste would lean more towards SC.

I was at Fox Hollow last December for a wedding. It was the perfect location for a winter wedding!
