Swatch??

When do you get a swatch of dress? What do you use it for? Edited to ask, How long does it take to obtain the swatch?

You take it from inside the dress...used to dye shoes or match something.

You use it to match every thing you will be wearing.... Shoes, stockings, bag, shawl... EVERYTHING! I think you can ask for it whenever you're little heart desires!

You should also ask for a swatch of your bridesmaids gowns as well!

usually they give you a piece off the hem once you or one of your BMs have gone for a first fitting

My salon ordered them from the dress manufacturers. It took about a month to get them after calling.

I emailed my mfg and she sent it to the bridal shop. It only took about two weeks to get. I used it for a lot. Flowers, veil, shoes, etc.
