sweet potatoes.....recipe? the one with marshmallows

You can use either fresh baked sweet potatoes or the ones in the can...

Place some slices of unsalted butter in the bottom of the pan

Put in sweet potatoes

Place more slices of butter on top

add the pinaple pieces and or juice if you want that you can put nuts too if you want

Put brown sugar all over the top

Drizzle top with Karo syrup (dark or light) and maple syrup

bake untill its carmalized and bubbling when its almost done place marshmellows all over the top & cook till brown

If you want the bottom to be mashed instead of pieces of sweet potato, then mash either the canned or fresh (precooked) yams mash in pot with all the other ingredients plus heavy cream or evaporated milk just enough to make it creamy maybe a dash of cinomon or nutmeg and put mashed mixture in the pan and place marshmellows on top right before you put it in the oven
