FBIL's daughter turned one in April and FH's grandparents made her a wooden cradle for her dolls and a knit wool blanket with pillow.
I absolutely fell in love with it and FMIL told her parents how much I loved it. Well, they decided that they didn't want to wait for us to have kids - they would make it now, because who knows what the future holds?
I thought that was so beautiful - I cried. I can't believe they made this for me! I can't wait for my future children to hear about how this was made before they were even born!

wow!! ! i love stuff like that.. hand made stuff is the best!!!!! that would be great if that became something that kept getting passed down!
