Re: Swiffer
Wow, I love swiffer. But we have a fairly smooth floor. Does your floor have tiles? Maybe that's why there were streaks.

I wasn't crazy about it either, it just left streaks of wet dirt on the floor.

Re: Swiffer
I got the regular swiffer to use on my linoleum kitchen floor. It doesn't clean that great and it makes the floor slippery.

If you have pets be careful while using the swifter around them...

Re: Swiffer
for pet owners - one of my friend's dog died recently because he was licking his paws after walking on the wet just swiffered floor - seems the fluid is made out of a substance really close to anti freeze. they did an autopsy and blood work this is how they found out - he was an otherwise perfectly healthy 2 year old dog. couldnt figure out how he suddenly got sick and died. the vet says the toxins build up and can shut down your pet's liver ( which is what happened to her dog ) i was horrified when i heard this because i use swiffer all the time and i have 5 dogs - she has only been using it a few months ( in fact i got her to try it - i feel totally guilty now) i immediately threw it all out only pet friendly stuff for me from now on
i totally loved my swiffer - but dont use it around your pets

I'm not crazy about it either. I have to use two just to do my kitchen alone. I go through them so quickly. They are nothing to rave about.
