SWR- Anyone with bad back/knees/ankles?

And yes I have all of the above...

Two questions

!) Do you have a sneaker and /or everyday show that has been recommended for your condition? I'm about to start weaning off a cam walker back into real shoes from a severe ankle injury and I wan supportive new sneakers to transition into

2) What kind of shoes do you plan to wear on your wedding day?

I was thinking of platform shoes so I get some height, but my feet are not at such a severe angle

I have arthritis that affects my knees.

Doctor never told me anything specifically about sneakers, but I know New Balance is very good.

As for wedding shoes, I am 5'8, so I'm planning on wearing low heels, maybe like an inch or two inches, and bringing a pair of slippers with me in case my knees start to bother me.

Hope this helps!

Definitely New Balance. I like them b/c they make sneakers specifically for walking, so I feel like that's the best support there is for normal moving around.

Wedding day...I can't wear heels at all. When my ankle's raised, it pivots my tail bone and everything in my back goes bananas (medical explanation, obviously). I'm in two weddings before mine, so I'm going to try a less than 1' heel - the only thing I've had luck with in my adult life are the shoes that have the band around the front of your ankle...for some reason it holds me in better, and when my back goes bananas, I can still hold myself up.

Depressinggggg.

I have all three bad. Though the ankle is getting better. My podiatrist swears by New Balance. Not the cute, smaller less expensive ones, but the running/walking sneakers. I recently bought Saucony and showed them to him before I wore them and he said they were made good too.

As for the wedding, I'm going to try to find a low wedge, I find them easy to walk in and I need a little hieght, FH is 10 inches taller than me. And I agree, the ankle strap really helps.

I cannot wear flip flops anymore, since there is no support and that's what caused me to hurt my ankle in the first place. I saw that Sketchers makes sneaker/shoes with a little bit of heal in white and off white, so I may buy those for a back up or for dancing.
