SWR Cell Phone Plans

Are you and FH on the same wireless network?
If not, do you plan to switch after the wedding?

FH and I are on seperate networks and sometimes his bill is ridiculously high b/c it's eating up his minutes b/c he uses his phone more than I use mine.

FH is in a new 2 year contract.
My contract is up and i'm going month to month.

It should be a 'no brainer' to switch over to his carrier... except they are so expensive, and I hate that I can get a better deal for myself somewhere else.

what do you think I should do?

We changed to a family plan. it saved us alot of money every month. see if you can do something like that maybe

FH is on a family plan with FMIL. They already said they would add me to that plan, no problem.
However, the phone options, and data options S U C K on their provider.

I want T-Mobil b/c i call the same 5 numbers plus their sidekick plan is perfect for me.

It just seems stupid to not be on the same carrier as FH though right?

i dont think its dumb if you live together and spend most of your time together its not like you talk to him all day long while he is working right??

if it is your life line like mine is i went with the carrier that the most of my friends used so it was cheaper

FH switched to my cell phone company (Verizon) in 2004. Before we were engaged we talked about joining a family plan when his contract was up (mine was up sooner) but we got engaged before both ended. We're on the family plan now.

And he just told me he gets a civil employee discount. Why hasn't he been getting it from the beginning!!!!!

Depending on the cell company, some pay the cancellation fee so your FH might be able to get out of his without paying it.

I don't talk to him all day long, but he is out more than he is home with his job so I do talk to him on his cell a lot.

My friends and family are all on different carriers which is why I think T-mobil works best for me. Fave 5 and all that jazz...

But then again, most of my minutes are used to call FH so while it'd be free for me to talk to him, he's be using up his minutes talking to me.

UGH.

we both have verizon, He has a shared plan, and there are other people from the office on the plan as well.
The bill is still rediculously high because of his data and internet plans.

but we never talk on the phone, hes so busy during the day, if he calls its for 1 minute to tell me something important.
