SWR: cost of Disney themepark tickets?

Girls,

Where did you buy your Disney tickets from? Online? Disney Store? When you got to Orlando? Going to see a timesharing, etc. for a discount? We might do this, but I can't see spending $800 on tickets for the two of us. I see some places online for 5 day passes for $150, but I don't trust that they're legit....

TIA! :)

we bought them when we got to Orlando. i believe they have the hopper passes to go to different parks which was alot cheaper

Honestly, the SAFEST route is buying them direct from the theme park (online/through travel arrangements, disney store or AT the place) because often they have FAKE tickets floating around and you don't want to waste the money on them and then either not get in or have to buy more, real tickets. (many 'fake' tickets are expired park hoppers...they are real, but no longer usable.) the more days and parks you buy the cheaper they really become....but it adds up as well.

I just came back from Epcot and the tickets were $67.00 for one day. I got them from the front desk of our hotel.

I would be safe and buy them either online or through their store. Buying hopper passes does save a lot of money though

It's cheaper to buy them at the Disney Store before you go. Trust me - I've been to WDW every year since 1999!! The Disney Store sells the various park hopper passes and they are 100% legitimate. Plus you won't have to wait in long ticket lines once you're there. (You'll be doing enough of that when you're going on rides!)

We booked everything (hotel, meals, tickets. etc.)directly thru disney. They gave us the best prices. But I heard for 'tickets only' that MapleLeaf Tickets is the best price. I did call and speak to a man there named Omar (prior to doing the whole package) and he was super nice and very helpful. My co-worker uses them 2x a year so I know they are legit.
