Is this becoming a new hot place for HM? We want to go on vacation somewhere different and can't spend a ton..

I know quite a few people who have hit Costa Rica as a HM spot in the last couple of years. ONe of my coworkers had a destination wedding there last year and love it. one of the things she loved was the prices -- they stayed at FABULOUS places for great prices. They used this website -- www.luxurylink.com for part of their stay and rave about the deal they got.

We are going there for our first anniversary! In process of planning with our travel agent, going to two areas of the country (south/jungle/area and northwest/beach area--with day trip to Volcano).

I just checked it out. Is it a beach vacation? It looks more rainforest/hiking/jungle type..
It's beaches, jungle, rainforrest, volcanoes... It's a real great place. Really inexpensive too. We were there in November, and the Ocean was 85 degrees! We took a day trip to Tabacon Hot Springs, AWESOME. We also did zip lining through thte rainforrest, and surfing, and white water rafting, and LOTS of drinking! Really, a great time, we can't wait to go back!
