SWR: Family trees

SWR: Family trees

I never knew much about my family's backround. I knew were were Jewish, and most American Jews came from Eastern Europe, but that was about it. Well, some random relative of mine put a family tree together! With the info he sent my family, I used it to dig a little further. I found so much information!!! I used EllisIsland.org and Ancestry.com, and found passenger lists and immigration dates and parents' names. (My great-great grandfather had TEN children...wow). AND I found out I'm Lithuanian and Russian.

I finally find out where I came from!

Maybe I'll find a way to work this into the wedding...

yea i wanted to join but it was big bucks at the time. I think though i will save up and do it. I really wanted to do a family tree for the reception to be displayed at the sign in table but both sides of the family are not helping me very much.

I am glad you found out about your ancestory to me its so important to know where you came from.
