So I noticed what I thought was a bug bite on my right upper arm, 2 actually. Small red 'dots', that itch, but I was very good at not scratching, so I didn't break the skin and get scabs.
I'm at work now and went to show my MOH and noticed the mark got bigger, and MOH said it's ringworm. I'm not sure what it is, and I'm upset b/c my wedding is on Sunday! I have an appt at the dermotologist tomorrow, but want to know if there is anything I can do now?

Go to the pharmacy/cvs/target.... and get some antifungal cream. You can ask the pharmacist to show you the OTC cream.

yes....i think that 'bluestar ointment' is supposed to treat/cure ringworm.

I had that two weeks ago, they told me it was heat rash. Don't use any cream, just put anti itch cream like a hydrocortizone on it keep washing it and putting that on it.

UPDATE' Just came back from CVS, asked pharmacist. He said to use hydracortozone cream. Bought some Cortazone cream...still going to go to dermatologist tomorrow. Just incase!

ugh!! it must be a thing for june 25th girls! i got married last year on june 25th... and the week before the wedding, i woke up deathly sick, rash all over, fever, throwing up.... thank god i worked at a school and i was already done for the summer, so i slept all that week and was fine and had a great time at the wedding... keep using that cortisone cream.... its probably just some kind of bug bite or heat rash.... let us know what the doctor says! 6 more days!!!!! ( i can't beleive i'm abut to celebrate one year already!)

definitely still see the Dr, just in case. Are you sure it's not from tics? Lyme disease?
eta: not to scare you, but better to thoroughly investigate and be safe rather than sorry.

ACK! No, not scared. I have not been in an area to be exposed to tics. We'll see after the Dr tomorrow!

If it is ringworm, then you would see a red circle (ring). It is actually not a worm, but a fungus.
