SWR-Invitation Snafu

I received an invite to my cousin's Bar Mitzvah the other day. A beautiful clear see through invite with black lettering. Really nice. I tried to write on the response card and realized that nothing will write on it except a sharpie! It's like the invite is plastic and not porous (sp)

Yikes!

The lesson here is, make sure your response cards can be written on with a ball point pen. This is a PIA!

I tested mine out for that very reason!! (That and they are a very dark red, and I wasn't sure blue ink would show up on it.)

Thanks for mentioning that. I probably wouldn't have thought twice about it when ordering invites.

also make sure the envelope seals. my friend's rsvp envelopes wouldn't seal up. had to tape it up.

for that matter, make sure the main envelope seals well too.
