SWR - jealous friends?

Thanks ladies.

I plan to just let this fade away and make no more effort to keep the friendship.

jeez! her comment on the diamond was totally uncalled for. she wouldn't 'take' anything less than 2 carats? is anyone offering? lol

that's what I would have said.

ETA: she sounds totally jealous... and no offense, but not someone I would associate with.

There are simply some people who are perpetually MISERABLE. She is one of them.

It could be more of her trying to compete for your attention, rather than her being jealous about your upcoming wedding...

(nice to see you again, BTW)

I have noticed that during the happiest times of your life, people will be say the rudest things.

Is this someone you want to continue a friendship with?

If yes, then you have to ignore her comments and focus on what you like about her. If you confront her about what she said, she will say you misunderstood or that she never said those things.

If not, then just slowly let the friendship fade away. If she asks why, you can tell her you didn't like a lot of the things she said.

Hope things work out.

I don't know the whole story..but I'm getting the jist of it...

Just remember..the crows only pick from the good apples, not the bad

and thats my piece of philosophy for the week!

Me either- but I always think that negative comments are from negative people who obviosuly aren't happy with their own situations!!!
