SWR: Scrapbooking

Help me girls..
I want to start learning how to scrapbook because I'd like to make one about my wedding..
I have NO clue about scrapbooking..I have never made one and know there are tons of techniques, tools etc.
Can someone recommend a great book on scrapbooking to help me get started?
TIA!!!

I think Michael's or AC Moore have scrabooking classes. I did not check them though.

i'd like to get some info on this too! maybe check amazon for some books, see what has good ratings before you buy it. i think if you check out michaels and ac moores scrap section you will have a good idea of what materials/tools are out there and you can judge what you need to buy from books and websites. thats what i plan on doing when i want to start. ~lacey

I wouldn't say I was a pro or really good at it but I love to think I'm good. All I did to start was buying some special paper you can use any. Prints , solids, sheer paper at AC Moore or Micheals and buy special designed scissors and in their sticker isle they have stickers for any occasion. ( they even sell pre- cut paper)You have to take a look . And practice. I never bought books but I think they came out really good. I'l FM you pictures tomarrow of pages I did to give you ideas.

I didnt go to any special class, but I love scrapbooking, I do not know how 'good' I am, but I love my books... I started one for the wedding and I love it. I am sure people have better, but I like what I have

Just buy a book- get some materials, gather items you want to include and start scrapbooking...

(fm me, its been awhile)

We're going to be doing this too once we get back from the honeymoon, our first married project together.
