SWR: Things to To in Suffolk/Eastern Nassau??

My cousin is coming up from Virginia for my wedding. She is bringing her 2 teenaged kids. They will be getting her on Friday night and leaving on Sunday. The wedding is Saturday from 11:30am to 5:30pm.

She was hoping to catch 'dinner and a movie' one of these nights. A trip to the city is kind of an event - especially if you don't really 'know' the city and how to get around. I hate telling her that the likelihood of being able to fit a trip to a broadway show is slim - and I want to be able to give her some alternative activities. Does anyone have any ideas as to what this family can do in or around suffolk on Friday night, Saturday night or Sunday day?

Bowling, Hibachi Restuarant (Tai Show is great, and there are a bunch all over), a trip to Cold Stone (if they don't have it in VA)

Sports Plus
Rinx
Jillians
A big Mall (shopping here is different from just about everywhere else...)
Captree
Nautical Mile in Freeport
Jones Beach
Visit Fire Island, or any of the lighthouses
Belmont Lake State Park
Bayard Cutting Arboretum
Long Island Maritime Museum

Also, closer to when they come, you can look on Newsday.com in the explore long island section, and there are schedules of free concerts, parades, festivals, expos, and any other special events going on... very helpful...
