SWR-Umberto's

I need help, and FH is not answering his phone(probably with a customer)

But we need to get FFIL and FStepMIL a gift certificate for a dinner.

Furthermore...I am not from Long Island..so bear with me.

We ate at this restaurant called Umberto's while we were in NY last. It was yummy. Cute little place, nice ambiance, not to big.

But I can't find it on the net.

We had just finished with Flower Michele, and were driving back to brooklyn. We were still on LI..but I dont' knwo where.

When I google it...it comes up with something in the city..and it definitely was not NYC. Definitely LI>

Pete is not answering and I need to get this done.

Does anyone know where or what I am talkinga bout?

Thats my problem, not from there..so have no clue.

But..I do know it was somewhere between Mineola(Where flower Michele is) and bensonhurst...but it was serioiusly like only ten minutes or a little more away from FM...I think

There's an Umberto's in Huntington called 'Umberto's of New Hyde Park'. It's on Jericho Turnpike.

I'm not even from LI and I could answer this!! YAY!!!!

ETA: Okay....it's not in Huntington---I was close

IF I lived there it would be in mine too.

Pete and I both had two bowls of the tortellini in brodo...

And can I just say..their house red is yummo!!

It was so nice inside too..very old world looking, I loved it.

it is in new hyde park i'll say

my shower was there and my bachelorette party

they are famous for their sicilian pizza right?
