SWR - Vent

For FSIL's wedding, FSD is a junior bridesmaid (at 7 years old I don't know why she's not a freakin flowergirl...but whatever).

So because of this, I had to go out of my way to find a dress through Jasmine that would fit FSD and also go with the MOH's dress...they sent me a jr bridesmaid dress to buy her...she is 48lbs and 4'2...these dresses were not going to fit her. So I had to find her a dress...finally we pick a flower girl dress....

It cost $130. Ugh, whatever.

So today we find out its in, we go in for alterations...she only needs a hem, GREAT!!! I was so excited, thought 'finally, someone cut us a break!'

THEY CHARGED $40 FOR A FREAKIN HEM!!! She cut it right in front of me and all they have to do is finish the end...THAT IT!!!

$170 for a dress for a 7 year old girl...and her dress for our wedding cost us $25.

My Aunt's niece on my Uncle's side asked the parents to pay $325 on a flower girl dress....and they did! I would tell her to kick rocks!

lol my fgs parents paid 244 i think her alterations were 50.

i didnt want them spending that much though. but btwn fg and her mom..they have expensive taste(which i warned the father).. he said he will be picking cans out of my garbage for the rest of his life

The prices are crazy. FSD's dress was $200 before tax...and who knows what bridal reflections will charge me to hem it!

I have the pricelist for bridal reflections bc I am in a wedding where the bride had us get our BMs dress there....it says:

Hem: $45 (baby hem)
Hem: Multilayer, Chiffon, Bubble Hem, or 'Horsehair Hem': $60
