Re: swr: waxing ....
This is how i can explain it.... It feels like when you pull it off ...it gets hot...thats it..i would rate it like 1 1/2...your lips are the most painful.. to me atleast.. I would recommend it ..i go like 2 1/2 weeks without hair...it works..

i have SUPER sensitive skin -- i can't use anything but Cetaphil in terms of lotion or I break out -- I got my waxings from BLISS in NYC, and i didn't have any problems!
If you're not going to Bliss, then you should definitely do a test run first -- Bliss uses a different kind of wax, it doesn't pull your skin, only the hair...

Bliss is the best! Ask for Bella (at the one on 57th between 5th and 6th) - I would recommend a trial run before you get it done too close to your wedding, only to be sure that you react well to it. Shouldn't have a problem, but better safe than sorry!

Re: swr: waxing ....
I am a complete baby- it hurt like a b**ch for about 3 seconds, then it was okay- I had mine done several times over the course of a month, and each time it hurt less...the only thing I don't like about it is that you have to wait until the hair grows back until you wax again- I felt like chewbaca after 4 days!
